Quote of the week

I'm not a runner. I'm not even a walker to be honest. I wouldn't know about the hormones that kick in to give you that absolute pleasure and happiness when you are running and I wouldn't know how it is to compete with someone running against you (I'll spare you my my embarrassing experiences from school ;-)).
You wonder because you never even have seen the word "sports" mentioned in this blog (except one time when Ponder was debating about joining a sports college)?

Today's quote is from a sports movie, one could say. Actually it's not only about running however, but two very different athletes. One of them, Eric Liddell is running to praise God through his talents, the other one, Harold Abrahams, who is Jewish is running for fame and to overcome prejudice.
The movie is based on facts.

Harold M. Abrahams: I don't run to take beatings! I run to win! If I can't win, I won't run!
Sybil Gordon: If you don't run, you can't win.
