Technology - love it, hate it. At the moment I'm more of a hater as I'm still struggling with some last settings that stubbornly refuse to do what I want.
What I hate even more, though, are captchas. I don't know why websites I have visited forever have suddenly decided all at once to hit me with captchas. Not one or two, I would be fine with that, but multiple ones, up to 15. I'm tired of bicycles, crossings, buses, and traffic lights. I'm tired of tiny, sometimes even blurry pictures. And is a handlebar tip part of a bike or isn't it? Does anyone know? 🤪

Cat from Cat's Wire has what she calls a jumping spider brain. She has many interests and will blog about whatever catches her attention - crafts, books, old movies, collectibles or random things.
Rena from Fine Whatever Blog writes about style, midlife, and the "fine whatever" moments that make life both meaningful and fun. Since 2015, she's been celebrating creativity, confidence, and finding joy in the everyday.

Yuck, Captcha's are indeed awful! Have you seen the Dutch movie I'm not a robot? A woman can't get through the captcha and therefore can't prove she's not a robot!

DeleteYes, Cat! I get frustrated with the increase of Captchas I'm seeing and.I agree with you - technology is either my friend or a frustrating enemy. There is rarely in between! Good luck in resolving your issues! Hopefully the weekend ahead will be wonderful!

DeleteOh, I detest those Captchas! They get so sneaky...is that a handlebar of a bicycle in that itty bitty corner, or are they trying to trick me! I hope you soon win the war and not just the battles, Cat!

Isn't it ridiculous?? I once used a site with captchas that showed me weirdly generated animals and I had to put them the right way up. Sometimes it worked right away, sometimes I tried all directions and they were all wrong! What the ....

ReplyDeleteI had a new one today. I had to pick things that grow if you use the item from the reference picture. It was a watering can and there was a mix of buses and sunflowers. Much better!
