I think the title says it all.
It's unbelievable, but four years ago der Dekan entered - well, actually he was carried into Gundel's and my world and changed it forever.
A tiny kitten with a big belly, a huge ego, an urge for destruction, the teeth and claws of a mighty predator, the best snuggles, and plans for flat domination (because of not being allowed outside to take over the world instead).
I already told his story on his birthday in April, so now I'm just going to share a few pictures, old and new in random order.

Happy Gotcha Day! Der Dekan could be a twin to my grandcat, Grayson. We always had tiger cats when I was a cat. Every one of them was named Tiny Stripes! I do love tiger cats and would love to have another should I ever have another pet.

DeleteHe's my second tabby and looks quite different from Meffi. I have a lot more pictures of him than of Gundel because she likes to roll up which makes photos hard with a black cat while it's really easy to take pictures of him.
You made me giggle with your little typo "... when I was a cat". You have no idea how often I write cat instead of other words, they tend to sneak in everywhere!

DeleteHe was a delightful kitten and is a fine cat now. I love our current tigers, Willa and Percy, but I'm glad that Percy is the big one and Willa is the clever one as she's limited in her plans for world domination by being really quite small. Yesterday, in the heat, she walked over to the fan in our bedroom and clearly requested that I turn it on, then settled down to be kept cool by it!
